Work With Me/Disclosure Policy

Work With Me

Before I lived on the internet, I had several day jobs.  Most of those included writing on topics such as accessible travel, education, arts and business writing.

If you would like me to write for you on any of these topics or other ones, please get in touch.

I landed my favourite job when I drove into the interview and everyone in the office read my blog before I got there.  My old boss calls me, um, very persuasive.

Please don’t expect me to review the disabled access of your bookshop, coffeeshop, restaurant, hotel, etc without actually visiting.  I used to get paid to make the world a more accessible place.

Disclosure Policy

After seven years of blogging, you should know that I don’t do it for money.

However.

As a recent thing, I sometimes get free stuff/moolah in exchange for an honest review of free stuff.

A word on free stuff

Sometimes I request it.

Sometimes people throw it at me and then laugh.

A word on people

I like you.  Just because I like you doesn’t mean I will like your free stuff.  Honesty, right?

I only accept/request free stuff that I would use/read anyway, and think my readers (also you) would like to use/read, too.

A word on affiliate links

As you do, if I like something, I link to it for nothing.  Now that affiliate links are a thing, and I’m attempting to work from home, and I live in the boonies, if a post contains affiliate links, I will say um, this post contains affiliate links.  That means I get a usually small, but still appreciated, percentage of the sale if you happen to like the same stuff I do.

A word on the boonies

If you want to send me free stuff all the way out here (Skye, Scotland) that’s a bonus.  Thank you.

I will only work with you if you offer international shipping in general.

If, after all that, you want to work with me, please email me at: lorna@ginlemonade.com

I’d love to work with you,

Lorna

I haven’t written about it, but I’ve read a bunch. I’ll find you some links to more info. Happy 2018, lady.
