When I was her age, I preferred “Notes from the Underground,” but to each his/her own. My 2-year-old is enjoying “Goodnight Moon” and “Runaway Bunny.” I’m reading Harry Potter to my 6-year-old.
Isla also likes Goodnight Moon. I find it quite bleak.
Can’t wait to start her on the Dahl books, and then we’ll get to Harry! Does your six year-old like him?
We went through a number of Dahl books: James and the Giant Peach, The BFG, Matilda, Danny the Champion of the World, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches, and The Twits, Fantastic Mr. Fox. That was when he was 4 or 5.
