I just finished book 6 of a YA fantasy series called Schooled in Magic. First book is a bit Harry Potterish but it gets better. My biggest problem was actually the afterward where the author discusses how he was taught Romeo and Juliet when in high school, assuming that all modern readers interpret the two lead characters as adults. I don’t know who his Freshman English teacher was but I sure know that is not how mine taught it to me. Other than that, each book has improved over the previous book so you can see the author’s development as a writer. Okay, enough rambling. To early in the morning.
