I meant to post yesterday, but the internet got the better of me. So this is maybe two posts in one.
But first, last week’s writing prompt round up.
If you’re new around here, I’ve been posting weekly writing prompts for a few weeks now, and every week I link to other people’s posts on the prompt.
Last week the prompt was Puzzle, and we’ve had some thinkers!
There’s Ritu on the importance of reading and puzzles with kids.
Deb’s list of 10 puzzling things.
Anindya’s mysteries of the human brain.
Carol’s short story Unsolved
Susanne’s thoughts on team building exercises.
My response to the prompt was actually sparked last night, after an incident involving an emoticon and the internet kept me awake. Really. My words will be included in a longer post next week, or maybe sooner then that.
I’m um, further inspired by an article I read this morning to write even more, and do more with my words and this blog.
And yesterday kind of brought me to this week’s prompt which is: crossed wires.
If you have words on crossed wires, the roundup will happen on Thursday, October 18th.
Family road trip to Edinburgh before that. We like those.
Now, the rest of this post contains affiliate links. That means if you make a purchase through them, I’ll make a commission, at no extra cost to you. My disclaimer can be found here.
I mentioned before I couldn’t sleep last night.
One of the good things about being awake all night was I was able to continue to binge on this year’s Genius Blogger’s Toolkit.
If you hang out in my Facebook group or my email list, or anyone else’s lately, you might have heard about it.
I’m sensing some confusion from people. My Dad even visited this morning to ask about it.
ALL that for THAT price? he asked.
The Genius Blogger’s Toolkit Is:
9 printable packs & workbooks,
5 templates, 5 stock photo packs,
2 membership sites for the actually ridiculous price of $97.
The bargain price doesn’t mean the products are cheap, put together these 77 blogging gems are worth $5,867.88.
But did I mention it’s actually on sale for $97?
And there’s bonuses.
The GBTK happens once a year, like Christmas.
I bought my first one last year, but this year is brand new.
I had a blogging friend ask me what my favorite resources are this year, and I came up with this non-exhaustive list. Honestly, these are just a few.
