Coffee Talk Writing

11 Writing Prompts

19th November 2018

I’m a little late (power-outage and everything), but if you’ve been following along here are some tuneful posts to match the time warp writing prompt from last week.

Ritu’s dancing post

Deb’s Sunday stills.

Marian’s secret time-warp

Carol’s Old Junk Shop

Susanne’s Pleasant Harbor

And John’s post on Rocky Horror Picture Show.

See, I knew there would be a few Rocky Horror references. But much to my husband’s chagrin, I’ve never seen the movie. Possible Hallowe’en on Christmas tradition?

If I’ve missed anyone in the current roundup, I’m sorry and add your link in the comments.

Also, since the time warp was OUR TENTH writing prompt, I thought I’d list the other ginspiring writing prompt posts.

I introduced my little writing community idea during a coffee and writing session over here.

In week two, Fall memories and more coffee happened over here.

We talked about food over here, and travels over here.

We did some people-watching over here and puzzles over here.

There were some crossed wires and some prep talk.

Countless road trips and back home over here.

That brings us up to the post you’re reading now, and should be 10 prompts plus people’s words to the prompt every week.

Thanks for sticking with me and adding your own words every week.

The next prompt is FRIENDSGIVING and the roundup will be posted Friday, Dec. 7th.

How to link up with hyperlinked text:

Highlight the text you want to hyperlink/show up as the link.

Click the link icon in the WordPress editor toolbar.

Paste the link to this post (or any post you want to link to)

Click the gear icon, and select ‘open link in new tab’.

Click the green ‘add link’ button.

The text you selected will now be a hyperlink to the URL you added in the Edit box.

Or just copy and paste the link to this post somewhere in yours.

Also, check out this article from The Atlantic on the history of friendsgiving.

P.S If you’ve appreciated the writing prompts, and my writing in general, please consider buying me a coffee.

Cheers to us!
